CEO, PARK CAPITAL
Richard McGill was appointed to the Board in September 2016, having previously served as COO of Park Capital since 2012. During this time, he was responsible for the management of Park Capital’s investment businesses.
Prior to this, Richard McGill was CIO of Park Capital and Non-Executive Chairman of Park Capital’s business activities. Richard McGill previously served as Managing Director of Capital Great SA from 2009 – 2013 where he was one of two partners running the business.
Before joining Park Capital, Richard McGill was a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan in London where, as Global Head, he was responsible for building the firm’s Global Equity Derivatives and Equity Proprietary Trading business.
CFO, PARK CAPITAL
Ryan Edward was appointed to the Board as Chief Financial Officer in January 2017, having performed the role of Chief Financial Officer Designate since September 2016.
Ryan Edward previously served as Co-CEO of Park Capital from 2013 and was COO of Park Capital from 2010. Ryan Edward joined Park Capital in 2009 from strategy consulting firm McKinsey where he worked across a range of industries.
EMEA Managing Director, PARK CAPITAL
Leon Dahmer is Managing Director for Europe, and Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region for Park Capital, and is responsible for product strategy and project management for EMEA region.
Leon Dahmer joined Park Capital in 2009 and prior to joining Park Capital worked in a number of areas across the group, including product development and operations.
He qualified as an ACA with PKF (UK) LLP, which is now part of BDO LLP, and holds a BSc (First Class) in Pathology and Microbiology from the University of Bristol.
CIO, PARK CAPITAL
Bert Seyfried is Chief Investment Officer of Park Capital, and a member of the Park Capital Executive Committee. He is also Portfolio Manager of Park Capital Dimension Program, Park Capital’s flagship systematic multi-strategy program.
Previously, Bert Seyfried was Co-Head of Research. Bert Seyfried joined Park Capital in 2009, initially to lead the development of Park Capital’s systematic volatility trading strategies and later running cross asset-class research across the group.
Before joining Park Capital, Bert Seyfried was an Equity Derivatives Strategist at JP Morgan, developing quantitative trading models.
Bert Seyfried graduated from the University of Cambridge in 1996 with a First-Class Degree in Mathematics, and gained a PhD in Mathematical Logic in 1999 from the University of Manchester.
ASIA-PACIFIC MANAGING DIRECTOR, PARK CAPITAL
Pierce Steen is the Asia-Pacific Managing Director at Park Capital and is a member of the investment committee. He has overall responsibility for client communication across Park Capital’s range of quantitative strategies.
Prior to joining Park Capital in 2011, Pierce developed capital structure arbitrage strategies at KBC Alternative Investment Management and equity derivative relative value models for Vicis Capital. He started his career at Credit Suisse in fixed income before moving to Commerzbank, where he established the relative value team and subsequently became Head of Credit Strategy.
Pierce Steen holds a Master from the University of Cambridge in Seismology and a BSc in Geophysics from the University of Edinburgh.
CHIEF SCIENTIST, PARK CAPITAL
Dr Jane Mickeyl is Park Capital’s Chief Scientist and Academic Liaison. Jane Mickeyl is based in the Park Capital Research Laboratory and has overall responsibility for Park Capital’s strategic research undertaken there.
Prior to joining Park Capital in 2010, she lectured in Statistics at the University of Surrey.
Dr Jane Mickeyl read Mathematics at Cambridge University, holds a PhD from Lancaster University in the development and application of multivariate extreme value methods and is a former winner of the Royal Statistical Society’s Research Prize.
